1级激光收发器使用光学反馈回路来维持1级操作限制。该控制回路无需进行维护检查或调整。输出为出厂设置，不允许用户进行任何调整。1类激光收发器符合以下安全标准：•21 CFR 1040.10和1040.11美国卫生与公众服务部（FDA）。•IEC出版物825（国际电工委员会）。•CENELEC EN 60825（欧洲电工标准化委员会）。当在其性能限制范围内工作时，激光收发器输出满足所有三个标准的1级可访问发射限制。1级激光辐射水平不视为危险。连接器就位后，所有激光辐射都留在光纤内。离开光纤的最大辐射功率（正常条件下）为-12.6 dBm或55 x 10-6瓦。从收发器上卸下光学连接器可使激光辐射直接从光学端口发出。光学端口的最大辐射（在最坏情况下）为0.8 W cm-2或8 x 103 W m2 sr-1。请勿使用光学仪器查看激光输出。使用光学仪器观察激光输出会增加眼睛的危险。查看输出光端口时，必须断开网络适配器的电源
